It is so important for us to begin and maintain consistent well-being practices these days – for peace of mind, a healthy body and for a peaceful life. Regular practice of Tai Chi and Qigong will bring you new energy. Spending a spare half hour practising in the loungeroom or with a daily session in your backyard, even a minute or two checking your posture while you’re standing at the check-out. The aim is to use what you learn in class in your daily life – keeping yourself fit, well and aware while out and about in the big wide world. These are lifestyle practices, helping us to live well with all of today’s pressures. You’ll notice the difference. You’ll find yourself moving more naturally, thinking calmly and feeling at peace with the world around you.

*Classes are structured, and adjusted, in accordance with the current pandemic restrictions, ensuring we still have the opportunity to learn and practice safely together. Classes are closed for all lockdown periods.
BEGINNING TAI CHI AND QIGONG
As beginners, we always look for a beginner’s class but, with limited time slots available, these are rarely offered. Once a class begins, it progresses as students learn. Watching, following and practising are key to your development so joining an existing class is a big plus for you. (A plus for older students, too, who work harder when they’re being watched!)
It is also a good idea to book a private class in your early stages of learning prior to or after attending one or two weekly classes. You will gain a clearer understanding of what, why and how to practice, giving you a little more knowledge and confidence when you begin your weekly class.
Group classes are offered weekly in Taoist Meditation, Qigong, Tai Chi and, for the more experienced, Wudang Tai Chi weapons. Classes can be challenging sometimes and will need your full attention or they may offer a fully meditative experience, but you can always expect some fun and laughter. Lightness of heart is key to your overall wellbeing…

Private tuition is available for every student at every level and for a variety of reasons:
- an introductory class (1 or 2 students)
- class times may not fit your schedule
- if you’ve lost track and need some inspiration
- if you need to work on challenging movements
- if you deserve a gift of some special one-on-one tuition…
